Kangaroos in Georgia

by

peoplee.jpg01.jpgSo my coworker says to me this morning, did you know Georgia has a huge Kangaroo conservation center?

I said, No, but immediately wanted to know everything she knew about it. So now…I share my new found information with you. If you’ve ever been there or end up going — please tell me how it was.

Located in Dawsonville, Georgia - the Kangaroo Conservation Center is dedicated to the preservation of kangaroo species through captive breeding and public education. Currently exhibiting over 300 kangaroos of 9 species, the Center has successfully bred and cared for over a dozen different species of marsupials in the past 24 years.

All visitors to the center must be atleast 6 years old.

Tour options, dates, and times vary seasonally

Aussie Adventure Tour Admission:
Adult $30.00 (age 18+), Senior $28.00 (65+), Child $25.00 (age 6-17)

Our original acclaimed Adventure (NOT OFFERED EVERYDAY), featured in the New York Times! A ninety minute guided tour which includes riding on the KangaRanger thru the “Outback” to view mobs of kangaroos, experience our Wild Australia Show, and options to explore other exhibits during your visit.
