I made Friday night plans for you….
Some nights you’ll have nothing to do and then others you’ll get too many invitations. Tonight is one of those nights were there’s a bunch of fun parties going on, but you can only be in one spot. Here are some places I stamp with my seal of approval for Friday night happenings:

* Russell Simons hosts Grown & Sexy Friday at the Velvet Room located at 3358 Chamblee Tucker Rd, Atlanta, Georgia 30341. The Velvet Room is definitely in an odd location: Chamblee, Strip mall, right next door to Big Lots. But inside it takes me back to the Vision days – except classier. A great dance club spot if you want a different scene from Compound or Opera. HOT TIP: Get on their email list serve and receive free admission for you and a guest. Otherwise, it’s $20 at the door. Dress to impress.
