Titanic Aquatic opens at Georgia Aquarium August 22

Remember about a year ago when there was the Titanic exhibit at the Civic Center? Well if you missed it, the same organization, RMS Titanic Inc, has paired up with the Georgia aquarium and is bringing some 190 artifacts discovered from the sunken voyager and displaying recreations from August 22 through Spring 2009. Cubs Sweep the Braves…and Chipper Jones gets knickname Mr. Disappointment

The Chicago Cubs won all three games against the Atlanta Braves - But I have to say what’s more upsetting than that is to go to the Braves HOME stadium and it be filled with “Cubbies.” The Cub fans cheered over Braves fans - cheering “Lets go Cubbies.” The only thing that shut them up was the Braves sound system blasting the tomahawk chop anthem. Boys in the Band opens this week at Whole World Theatre

This is the 40th anniversary of this landmark play - Boys in the Band -which opens at the Whole World Theatre in Atlanta August 7. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m. through
September 13.

What’s this play all about??
A group of gay male friends gather in an upper east side Manhattan
apartment in April 1969 for a birthday party when an unexpected guest
arrives. Truths begins to flow as freely as the cocktails, leading to
a funny, sometimes vulgar but ultimately open and honest dissection

CrossFit Training - Get in Shape

I’m not a huge excercise fanatic. I take an occasional run, yoga class, swim, or new fun class. Recently, I’ve heard alot about CrossFit and really had no idea what it is. Then strangely enough my friend emails me and says he’s opening a CrossFit gym in Kennesaw.

Last Chance! Hedwig and the Angry Inch at Actor’s Express

I remember watching the movie Hedwig and the Angry Inch in the UGA Student Center movie theater. I don’t remember it being particulary busy - but I do remember my friend Will singing along, out loud, with pretty much every song.

I listened to that sound track alot in college - it’s great music. I can’t recall the details of this movie, but I liked the whole thing - mostly the music..

So if you’ve seen the movie or not, I think what might be even better is to see it LIVE at Actor’s Express performance of Hedwig and the Angry Inch.. (more…)
