2008 Suzi Award Winners

The Suzi Awards go out to those involved in professional theater in Atlanta, Georgia.

The big winner this year who took home most of the Suzis was Alliance Theater with the productions of Jacques Brel and In the Red and Brown Water.

You’re Invited to the Downtown edition of ABC’s
Confident City Cycling Class

When: Saturday, November 15th
9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Where: The Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) Office
50 Hurt Plaza – Suite 110
Atlanta, GA 30303
Cost: $35

During this exciting class, certified ABC instructors will cover information including laws affecting bicycles, the importance of visibility and predictability, lane positioning, intersection safety, interacting with pedestrians, trail etiquette, bicycle safety checks, fixing a flat, on-bike skills, crash avoidance techniques, basic bicycling gear, and much more!

So big CONGRATULATIONS to now.. President Obama!!

How did Georgia pan out in this year’s election??:

Final President Tally:
McCain - 52.9%
Obama - 46.4%

Senate - Still Too Close to Call:
Neither Chambliss or Martin have won over 50% of the vote - Is there a runoff in the air??

GA Amendment 1 - Forest Preservation - YES
GA Amendment 2 - Community Redevelopment - YES (very close)
GA Amendment 3 - Infastructure Development - NO (very close)
