$10 Tickets to As You Like It at Georgia Shakespeare

If you’re not sure what a preview night is in theater world let me explain…

Preview Night = A very well prepared dress rehearsal. The cast has already had a dress rehearsal and the preview night could be exactly what an audience would see on opening night, but this is the opportunity to try out the show on an audience and tweek it if need be. Sometimes the set is not totally completed for a preview. But mostly directors will be watching to see if the audience laughed when it was supposed to, clapped at the end, seemed to keep their attention — and it’s always nice for the actors to get warmed up to an audience as well.

For the audience, a preview night is a really great economical opportunity to catch shows that are otherwise going to have a pricer ticket..

Come rollick through the Forest of Arden with Rosalind and the gang of
cool cats in Shakespeare’s gender-bending romantic comedy. This
romantic romp follows the sotry of Rosalind (Park Krausen), disguised
as a boy, who teaches the obejcet of her affection, Orland (Daniel
Thomas May), how best to woo a woman. Set in the 1960’s Summer of
Love, director Karen Robinson, brings a hip new twist to this groovy
and far-out show full of mistaken identities, lovable buffoons, and
plot twists and turns.
